I shall sumarise wat i did today.

Basically, this is one of my busiest day!! coz today in my cubicle, only got me, one student nurse!

Well, i met this kind and helpful AN who taught me lots of things. So whole day, i mostly follow her too. =)

today i bath 3 patients alone!!

And hor, that Mdm Teo wanna do business, so i brought her the commode ( smth like wheelchair for them to do business ). Then later i found out she was wearing pampers!! i didnt know that..

Then she damn cute lor, coz the RN open and check the pampers but there was nothing there.. so i asked her why nv 'pang' inside? she gave me a very surprised look and say in hokkien ' huh, must pang inside ah? '

Lols i was there laughing.. coz.. i didnt know there was ppl who dont know wat pampers are for!! so cute ok she.

Today i was so tired and sleepy k.. i nearly slept when wheeling the patient to toilet.. =.=

i Fed medicine to an elderly patient with renal problems.. her skin feels blotchy.. like watery underneath, coz her body cant retain water properly.. then i drop one medicine.. think i must be dreaming..

The RN whom i followed is called Donna, she showed me a procedure called In-Out. Its to find check the residual urine, coz normal ppl after unrinating will have like 30ml left in the bladder. If more than 100ml, means nervous system nt functioning well, so bladder not contracting enough.

So Donna inserted a urinal catheter into the urethra and the urine is collected in a urinary bag. the procedure is so cool k! more fasinating than wat i have learnt, and its a sterile process. we collected like near 500ml of urine...=/

I also did a urine dip test to see the glucose, ph of urine and all that.

oh yea, i heard from my other friends abt this funny incident..

You know at each bed got a call bell rite, where patient press the button and call for the nurse.

There was this ah ma, she press the call bell, then said to the call bell " Hello? Hello? Missy ah? come here come here!" she thought the call bell was a wakie talkie!!!

omg.. hilarious lor!! so cute these elderly can be!! lols

Oh yea.. lastly.. the renal patient discharged today.. i did said good bye and take care to her.. although she rarely talk, i know she appreciates us. =) I'll miss her.. ='

And.. i read some of my ex classmates blog, like denise, lesley, gabriel, tracy, they all talked abt how they love blss.. =D

Ytd i read in gab blog that Mr Yip ( my physics teacher ) actually was selected by MOE to go to America and go on the Moon!

That is So So So Cool ok! =P

Our teacher leh!! hehehe

Em, so at nite, i msg Mr Yip. i told him how glad i am and its totally amazing!!

guess wat he reply me..

he told me..

"I met Chang er on moon n she ask how r u ;-)"

dot dot dot.. =.=

so i said, " Mr Yip.. you still same as before huh, like to trick me.. i know there is no Chang er on the Moon! "

then he said..

"Yes u r so clever! I didn't know u hav changed! Chang er has migrated to Mars a few years ago. I only saw her rabbit actually ;-) "

Mr Yip ah.. want to lie to me also dun need say this ma.. if he tell me in primary 1 or 2, maybe i will believe.. but of coz i know thats not true!! lols =.=

Yea, so i asked if he got do any experiments on the moon, like dropping 2 bottles at the same time to see if they really fall at the same speed, and did he tried out newtons first law?

He said yes and its the same as wat he taught us.

Wow.. newton must be really clever.. he didnt went to the moon yet he can predicts all these stuff..

Its my dream to be on the moon, i guess thats everyones dream!! but i am equally Happy that my teacher went!

YaY !!

ok.. i am so tired now.. good nite!! =D
