These days really have alot of friends very stress over things which happened in life. Sometimes we just need some fresh air and hope for a miracle.

I just came across a story.. which i find that i MUST MUST share with you. =D Afterall, we are still humans who will face problems in life.

here goes =)

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of figuring and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and soon the pots came to boil. She placed in carrots, eggs and lastly coffee beans into the water. In about twenty minutes her mother turned off the burners and placed the carrot, egg and coffee in 3 bowls.

The daughter then asked, "what does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity... boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"

Think of this: Which are You?

Are you the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity and become soft and lose your strength?
Are you the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heart? Do you have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial harpship or some other trial, become hardened and stiff? Does your shell look the same, but on the inside is bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or are you like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour. It you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

The happiest of people dont necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you cant go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

As i type this story.. i am reminded of many of my friends.. some to me are the carrots and some are the eggs. Im like the egg myself..

I really can see the change in me for this past two years. If you know me for only a year, you haven seen the better side of me.

Today a close friend of mine asked why everything in her life seems to be going against her. Everything seems to be her fault, history keeps repeating itself.

I have stopped asking why on this topic. I really dun know why everyone seems to have a hard time. I really really dont understand!!

I just know time is really a good medicine.

Although i still dun understand what are we supposed to do.. I hope we all can be the coffee beans ba.

Afterall, life is a gift.
Accept your 80 years on Earth.

My goal : Die with integrity. HAHAHAS. i will work towards that =DD

Hahas.. i think i know why i dun care coz im the last one to be tested then i always know exactly what is coming out, so i revise on the spot. lols.

dunno why im not in a very good mood now.. hahas. partly is because my phone break down agian. Im using my old phone now, coz the new one broke down. Then the old someimtes can use sometimes cannot use.

........ nvm... =((

I felt better when jasmine called just now.. but suddenly felt more sad... ayio coz jasmine also feeling sad now. =((

I not really sad, just... not in the right mood now. Jas always calls me when shes sad.

Forget about "fake" candies, they really sucks. They have nice wrappings but the candy have worms.

CHEER UP K!! =)=)

There are still candy without holes. ^^

Im sure tml my mood will be better. I dun have to explain why, i dun know it either. hahas. But i can still live very well now.

The reason i can feel sad inside but happy outside is not im trying to hide the fact im sad or anything. But its because im the encourager of my ownself. I make myself feel better.

Sometimes the sadness is a feeling so i can accept and understand that, afterall, i know the reason. I just dun want to waste time showing it. So feeling it is enough le.

Hahas. why am i even explaining it.

Oh yea! the moon these days super round and bright!! Pretty pretty!!

Ytd on the bus, i was thinking of a stupid question.

If i break my leg now will i cry? hahas.. see too much orthopaedic patients in the ward le la... nearly all broke some part of their bones. Coz i see them like really quite painful..

When i broke my leg at 2 years old i never cry but i scared i will now. =x Do we grow up being stronger or weaker?

Someone break my leg please then i will know. hahas =S

2 months ago, my father accidentally gave away 6 of my archie comics!! Wa.. that time i was so angry until i refused to talk to them.

Im mad because,

1.ive been looking forward to collect those books from their workplace for 2 weeks!!
2.My mom assured me that its well kept
3.Archie comics is part of my bedtime story!
4.Its 6 old archie comics which i've nv read for a long long time
5.Books are one of the most important things to me

You know, at first im not so mad, just ARGH!! but its their ATTITUDE that drives me crazy. lols.

They act as if its not their fault coz its an accident and they commented its just 6 OLD COMIC BOOKS!!! Then i kept quiet. Got nothing to say to them.

Me: ....................................!!!!!
Father : " I give you $50 la, you can go buy more than 6 books back. "
Me: " i dun want!"
Mother : " $50 you dun want? can buy other things also leh."
Me: " No."

After 2 mins of silent war from me,

Mother: " ok la, why not i promise you one wish? you can get anything you want. And you can use your wish now or keep it for next time. its far better than the 6 books you lost rite?"

Then i immediately looked up. hahas.

Me : "em... ok. i'll think about it."

I blog this out because, Suddenly today i just thought of what i want le!!
WAHAHAHAHAS

Its only once or twice in my lifetime my parents will get me ANYTHING i want. lols.

But suddenly i also want smth else. A PS2...!! ><>

i also want to go overseas with Ade again!

hahas..

This is called Greed.

Nah.. i'll just stick to what i really want and like. =DD

I'm happy happy happi~

im sharing my story coz.. humans are greedy creatures.. parents can only give you materialistic things when you want.

If God could give me one wish.. I know what i want.
unless God really gives me a wish, I probably wont get what i really want.. ever.

Hey hey!..

hahas.. Gabriel complaining i nv blog liao. Siew ling say can send my blog to the old folk's home too. =x Im really quite busy ma.... (and lazy) coz lots of projects now.. especially nursing research. I hate doing projects which I dunno wat to do. =(

Life is tiring.. and fast. Recently im quite sad abt some things. Lets just say i onced had two important fishes. I lost one to the ocean and i freed the other one. Im sad abt the one that is missing and i miss the one i set free. Its my decision so i believe after some i wont feel so bad abt it. Learn from my lesson; dun assume things will be there forever..

I've got a direction now. I think so. because i've removed the smth thats blocking. hahas..

I'm still a happy person. yea. lols. =)

Sunday siew ling's going to perform her CO thing. Feelin nervous for her. hahas. I know Jasmine going to say i KPO bout other ppl's things le la.. hehe.

Sian ah... every week got project. I really dun understand why they want to torture us like that. All of us already not enough sleep liao. zzz =((

Hao ba. Going to end here liao. Update bout your lives to me ba.^^ hope everything is good my friends.

Later still going to read the research paper... must critique the article. =.= hahas.
