Well, ytd was busy.

today was busier.

tml is busiest?? haha

Ytd got some interesting cases. like there was this young girl who is a drug abuser!!!

she just came back from operation and shouted at her mom coz she wanted to smoke.

As a student nurse, its my duty to pursude her.. but i didnt..

im scared of her.. lols


then cindy came to ask if i wanted to feed bed 3, NG feeding.

As i was assessed on day 2 of attachment, i can freely feed without being assessed.

Firstly, i must aspirate, that means suck out some stomach acid to test. but nothing came out

then i pump in air and use stethoscope to listen if the tube is in place in the stomach..

i pumped in the third time then a sound was heard..

Suddenly, can aspirate the gastric juice!!!

then its so brownish and i can see some blood inside..

i freak out!! but im not sure if thats bld or not.. then a staff nurse ask me to use the urine dip test to test if theres blood.

haha.. didnt know the dip stick can also be used to test for gastric juice!

And the results confirmed my suspicion.. there is blood...

yea.. so i inform my staff nurse and she informed the doctor.

much much later... when i walked past the doctor again, he told me that i could try feeding him slowly and if theres anything, inform him again.

So i fed the patient. Everything went well ^^

That patient quite poor thing de.. hes the one who fell and hit his head in the toilet.. and becoz of that.. he became like that.. totally unable to communicate..

Sometimes, from the way i observe him, i really feels that he understands wats going on.. he tried to tell us some things too.. but we just didnt know wat is that...

haiz.. hes still so young.. poor guy.. "(



And the reason i am so busy today was becoz i got a very LAZY assistant nurse in my cubicle..

i was in cindy's cubicle helping her to restrain a pt as she fed the NG tube... then the AN came in and ask me to change bed 39 pampers.

then i went out and go change lor. and the AN was leaning against the wall dreaming abt her prince charming la.

Thats not really my job k!! i did all those for 1 month le. my objectives here are NG feeding, fleet and all those.

Then later i was observing the nurse clean the wound. then the AN came up to me and ask me to do vital signs.. taking bld pressure, temp all that la.

I was so shocked she nv start doing!!

so.. in the end.. i nv went for break.. i need to take vital signs from all patients.. and when i went to get the requisites, guess wat i saw.

I saw her holding a jug of hot water and going into the room for her break!!!

My goodness!!

She thinks student nurse come then can relax man!!!

Grr... nvm.

One patient discharged today but when she just step out of the ward.. she fainted..

so its quite a frantic scene..



Im so glad tml is the last day of this week!!

i dunno why hospital's time always pass by so slowly!

ok. 5 more days till attachment ends!!

If you have been wondering why i nv blog so long..

its becoz i cant use the internet!!!

Ever since my brother went for camp 6 days ago.. i cant go online!!

Now that hes back, i can use le.

Very suspicous hor!! hes so stingy lor. cant stand it le.


Ytd is my first day of attachment..

I can tell you i nearly died of boredom. Hear the instructor give orientation for like 4 hours.

Theres nothing to do!!

But today was much better...

I was assessed to do NG feeding.. its a tube inserted to the stomach and you must use a syringe to pour liquid in to feed the patient.

Then i orientated 2 patients!!! like must fill in the super long form by interviewing them.. the first time i alot dunno how to fill in but the second time i did it all my myself!!

HAHAHA proud. ^^

Er.. coz this time there are lesser ppl in one cubicle.. i am alone for my shift..!! ><

luckily cindy is just opposite to me.. yea.. most of the patients are very independent so we dun really have to help them much..

I saw 2 patients whose head suffered major injury... the frontal lobe is so bend in that kept me wondering abt the shape of their brain..

Got this patient i heard that he was ok and when he went to the toilet, he just fainted and was send to the hospital.. the next thing we knew.. he became a totally different person.. he cant communicate now or have much control over his movements..

Life is short and unpredictable.

We dun have to change diapers, bring commode and all that. rarely. its the assistant nurses which are doing that.

Ward 41 is a surgical ward so of coz there is blood.. but its nothing really scary actually.. in fact.. i enjoy seeing the doctors and nurses doing wound dressing. ^^

So, plz dun say that nurses only wipe ah mas buttock and clean blood!! i will pluck off the next person's hair who said that!! Its not true!!!

its one of the main reason i dont want to go into a relationship..



The hospital itself is not a happy place.

But seeing patients leaving in good condition under your care is wat makes it worthwhile.

today saw mingjie and alex in the shop..

yea.. haven seen them for quite a long long time..


i went to westmall and watched eragon with jia hui..

i love all these courageous shows although i still hope good people dun die..


Maybe someday, i might get a brain tumor or hemorrhage in brain.

Yea. hope my brain dies.

k nvm. im joking.


i used to explore why little children are so happy. and this is wat i know.

1) They have many dreams which they believe they can achieve.

2) They never thought of failure

3) They are easy to satisfied


theres many more.

but i wanna add smth..

4) They dun have much bad memory in life


Lets not talk abt these days kids. they are overly mature.


when i was in primary 5.. i cried so hardly from school till my grandma's house due to 'memory'

I wanted to be in the same class as my best friends..

i knew everything would become a memory when we changed classes..

my mother consoled me by telling that all my times spent with them will be a good 'memory'


why am i saying all these?

im not sure.

Im plagued by my bad memories.


i dun hope to erase them.

I just hope they will stop coming back.


Bad memories make ppl fear.


Some friends when i asked them some typical questions, they would give me this :

Haha. Yun Ru here

I know I very long nv blog le. Haha my blog’s going rusty. Hehe

Em, there are so many exciting things happening but ill just blog abt 2 events.

Firslt, last Monday, I dyed my hair.! Haha

Er, didn’t plan to at first. But I’ll tell you my story. ^^

Jas permed her hair. But she didn’t like it, so she asked me to go Shirley Mah with her and she wanna do treatment or rebonding.

Then the Lady Boss of the Shop suddenly walked up to me and asked, “ Hey girl, you wanna be model? Dye your hair for free. You want? “

The moment I heard ‘dye my hair’ I said “ nono. Haha”

My mama will kill me I think!

Em, they want us to be Barbie dolls so the trainees can practice dying of hair on us.

Then later they offered to help jas dye her hair or rebond it for free.

They say her perm hair will look nicer that way. And she agreed.

I figured that I couldn’t stand waiting 3 hours doing nothing and so I called my mama and she agreed that I could dye my hair too.

I choose dark brown colour.

Well, I dyed for a good course so I dun mind =P

Erm, the result wasn’t obvious. Which is wat I had in mind.

Its only obvious under the light.

Ok, end of story. Haha


And 2 days ago, Me, JY, Teck, Weil and boon hun went to the airport to fetch our Beloved Guo Xiong!! Haha

Well. We had so much fun on the train! Haha

Really missed them so much. Its nice to be together again.
Boon hun became crappier and joker I can say. Haha

Well, when we met Gab, he treated us to 4 packets of fries!! Hehe

And we played “ bridge”.

I luv that game ^^

WE played till we missed the last train home.. =.=

All of us were ok to stay over.. just worried abt jie yee only..

But there was no choice.

We went to this place where you can see all the planes and put our bags there.

Weil and BH like so poor thing coz they dun plan to sleep and look after our things.

Gab the First to sleep. He really can sleep so soundly you know !! haha

Me and Jie yee did slept for the first one hour and so, but we were awaken by the cold..

Its freezing!!! That’s why teck cant sleep and went to play cards with Weil and Boon.

We joined them too. Its like 2.45am.

We played a game called “ Zhen Xin Hua “ haha.

I am not sure abt the rules except that its best when you got 21. I wait for weilson to tell us who need to say how many Zhen Xin hua. Hee

Well. Its nice to listen to others Zhen Xin hua but its hard to say it out yourself sometimes..

Yea.. heard a number of secrets! Haha

But it’s a secret between the five of us hehe

Too bad gab is SLEEPing throughout..

Anyway. I most certainly wont forget that nite. Coz it’s a totally new experience =)


Em.. now I am at connies house blogging..

Coz my mama wanna move my internet to my bukit panjang house. Haha

Oh yea Weilson, I cant tag on your board. I also dunno why. Haha


Ok. I dunno when’s the next time I will blog again. But hope all those who are taking Common test now,

Finally reach home le..

Ytd movie marathon was quite alrite la.hehe

We watched White Chicks followed by the Grudge and some others.

When watching the Grudge, i drank 2 sips of Keen Hong's "grape juice" until my whole stomach burns.. then i suffered from a lil migraine and i just wanna close my eyes..

which i did.!! but i was woke up by the screams near the end of the movie lols..

I really wonder how he managed to finish his vodka drink.. its too strong.. plus i am tired also.. so i slept during the thrid movie..

The fourth movie was the exorcist.. quite frightening...

but i fell asleep in the middle of the movie again.. and when i woke up, connie and kh was beside me, may and jinny was infront.. yea.. at least they are all there..

So, overall, those scary movies were not so scary!! hehe.

there are 6 movies in total.. i slept without watching the 5th and 6th... haha..

then morning went to eat with connie and i have to rush to convention centre as i am involved in an event..

Ambassador thing la.. talk abt ambassador makes me so... Grr...

oh yea.. i nv told you how i got into ambassador rite.? except a few.. yea.. so this is the story..

i was eating ban mian with my si dang6 then the Ambassador president was sitting right beside me..

i just know i saw hui zhi, who orientated our class in the first day of school, whispered smth to the president.. then she suddenly turned to me and ask me to go for ambassador interview...

I didnt know whether i shld go or not de at first.. then i so 'lucky' met them in the office again.. and another girl called claire passed me a form and asked me to fill and return to her..

aiya.. in the end i passed the interview which i dunno how i did it and yea.. i am in the ambassador...

very lucky hor..

HAIZZ....

anyway.. i can only say that.. i really must learn to be independent there.. and they are really confusing too!!!

one min, someone called to say got meeting.. then i ask my friend, they say no meeting.. then later someone msg say got meeting but the time changed... no one said anything abt venue....

then they say we are all involved in Red Camp which i dunno wat is that but in the end, only some is involved and i dunno why i got landed up in parents seminar event..

haha.. so today.. i was one of the convention centre ushers..we must go around talking to parents and their children abt NP and courses..

i realised i really dunno much abt my school... haha..

some parents really makes me wanna laugh...

Me : " Hello! I am Yun Ru from HSN year 1 "

Parent 1 : " Oh, so why are you here? "

Me : " Em.. to interact with you ^^ "

Parent 1 : " Oh ic, so you are supposed to entertain us izzit? "

Me : " Can say that la haha "

Parent 2 : " Ok, sing a song for me then. "

after the event.. rushed home and went for piano...

so.. now i can finally relax le.. i am so sleepy... =(




Tml i will go to have my handphone repaired.. haha...

very long hor..

i am beginning to get used to life without a phone..

my parents kept asking me to get a new one..

but i was very reluctant..

becoz.. i dun wan to lose all my contacts..

i dun wan to find out someday that i couldnt contact someone again..

ok.. i'll blog again to tell that my phone is repaired when the time comes..

i already received some phone calls asking why i ignore them..

they thought i act dao.. lols...

haha...
