Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to WEILSON!

17 le hor!! hope you have a memorable bday this year ^^

Although today was no better than ytd..

I learnt smth.. which is add passion to your job...

Normally.. if i know the ah ma wld start complaining the moment i step near, i wld always run far far away..

Today.. i did the opposite.. which is purposely get close to them..

Well.. i find myself quite happy when doing anything. talking also makes time past faster!

Got this Ah ma.. very hot-tempered de.. they say she got dementia.. i was in charge of her and another pt.. bed 31 and 32

Then that Ah ma wanted to climb out of the bed.. she speaks hokkien.. and i dun understand.. and she wld complain and suddenly bang her bag of clothes on the bed..

She said she wanted to pang, so i brought her the commode chair and asked Cindy to help me.. when we lift her to the chair, she refused to untie her pants and scolded in hokkien..

So i called the staff nurse and she told us to wheel her to the toilet..

She had the urinary bag attached to her abdomen so she was there sqeezing the bag and emptying the urine in the toilet bowl..

Then later she pang lor.. lols

But when i brought her back to the bed.. her whole trousers all wet!! then the bed also wet! Cindy said that maybe the Ah ma wanted to go home.. so purposely wet her pants so can change to home clothes..

We called the Assisstant nurse and she changed the bedsheet. we were watching by the side as we were afraid the Ah ma will hit us...

Cindy said the Ah ma scoled us " Ben Dan ( stupid ), dunno how to do then dun do la " or smth like that la..

First time got scoled stupid by her... i am really terrified of her.. but i know shes just depressed..

And at Cindy's ward, patient 22 is actually a chinese teacher at my beloved Fuhua Primary school!! i am so shock.. heard his large intestine entangle.. then ytd he had so many tubes on him..

Today 2 tubes were removed and left 2...

Erm and i did some practice on wound dressing!! I saw the staff nurse in charge of the other cubicle in the clean room. Hes the one who asked me to help transfer patient in my first week.

Hes so nice to offer me to come watch a wound dressing with another girl. and said he wld wait for me to do my collecting of sterile urine for lab testing. He told me to inform my staff nurse and come to bed 7.

Er.. then he also let me and the girl try swabbing and drying the wound. Its not really a deep wound though, quite artificial. But i recalled and learned many things. Also rubbed so much alcohol antiseptic on my hands..

Ok basically.. these are some interesting things i did today.

I am scared of that ah ma la... =S
